EDWARD A. STEAGER

"Through high school and college, wartime, the birth of children and grandchildren, Edward Allen Steager has translated his life into verse." Thus begins a February 1999 review of American Everyman by Jodi Duckett, reporter for the Allentown (PA) Morning Call.

Ed Steager, a resident of Emmaus, PA, was born in Bethlehem and is a graduate of Liberty High School and Moravian College. He is a retired businessman and Emmaus High School Tennis Coach. A decorated veteran of World War II, Mr. Steager has long been active in veterans associations. He is a gifted musician and dancer and teller of tales.

This anthology of works dating back to 1933 is a Queensbury Press Heritage Edition, bound in blue linen hardcover with antique gold embossing. It contains 81 pages of poems, notes and photographs.
