BARBARA MALONE is Editor and Publisher of The Queensbury Press, a publishing company
which produces specialized books, prints and stationery. The Queensbury Press also
distributes works for international authors and publishers to specialty markets in the U.S.
and abroad.
Ms. Malone was born in London, England and raised in the USA. She holds a BA from Antioch College
(1969) and an MBA from Southern Methodist University (1977). She has studied in France and
Switzerland and has performed as a singer, storyteller and public speaker in French, German, Spanish
and Italian, as well as her native English.
For 25 years, Ms. Malone pursued a career in international business and politics in Washington, DC,
Austin and Houston, Texas. She has received commendations from the President of the United States,
the Governor of Texas and members of the international diplomatic community, as well as from universities
and chambers of commerce.
Ms. Malone is an experienced professional writer and editor of fiction and non-fiction, speeches,
market positioning, and advocacy pieces. As a journalist, Ms. Malone was a founder of The Washington
International Business Report, and has been a columnist for several publications including a journal
for British expatriates and a newsletter for an urban environmental center.
In addition to writing, editing and publishing, Ms. Malone has an active interest in
the performing arts, the environmental sciences, and the bridging of cultural differences.
She has traveled widely in the Americas, Europe and Asia and enjoys keeping in touch by
pen or electrons with her extensive international network of family, friends and colleagues.
